Vengeance is here, available now on Xbox Live and Playstation 3 marketplace!
As with the last 2 DLC packs for Black Ops 2, Vengeance brings you four brand new multiplayer maps.
Cove is set on an island in the pacific, and brings to players who use the environment to their advantage a real treat- this small island is littered with rocks, crashed planes and alcoves to hide behind.
Rush has quickly become a player favourite on multiplayer, as this map is set in a paintball arena. Complete with the paintball shop and fight area, the outside environment is exactly what you'd expect from a paintball field.
Detour brings players a real challenge in combat, as this damaged highway has two levels and is a clever way of making you think really hard about what weapons your bringing in. Snipers and shotguns have their advantage here as you can find yourself changin tactics often.
Uplink is based on the Black Ops 1 map, Summit. Like the reimagined Firing Range map from Black Ops 1 to Studio in Black Ops 2, Uplink is an identical clone with a new fresh look.
Vengeance also continues on with the Black Ops 2 trend of a new Zombies map- Buried. This is in addition to brand new gun specifically for zombies- The Ray gun Mark 2.
The Ray Gun Mark 2 is a definately upgrade to its predecessor, shooting 3 bolts per shot which shoot right through Zombies, perfect for those who death train.
Buried is the 3rd step in the Zombies story for the characters Russman, Stu, Misty and Marlton. The intro scene more or less covers the story upto this point, and you get to learn a little more about how the characters came to this situation. Featuring a couple new elements such as a friendly giant who can help you in different ways depending if you give him sweets or alcohol, Ghost Ladys that will sap your points if they touch you, and a couple ways to earn yourself a few free perks.
Overall, Vengeance has done a great job at keeping with what fans are after. New fun multiplayer maps, a brilliant addition to zombies with both map and the new weapon.
