Okay, so firstly the next xbox will be called the XBOX One! An interesting choice of name, and not one of the commonly rumored names!
The XBOX One will include alot of awesome features that will greatly improve your xbox experience, whether that be for games, sports, tv or entertainment.
The XBOX One will have:
- 8 GB of Ram
- 8-Core CPU
- 500GB Hard drive
- Blu-ray player
- HDMI in and out ports
- USB 3.0
- New kinect sensor
The XBOX one will recognize each individual users voice and sign you in to your personal home screen from there.
The Dashboard will, of course, have a complete change. The basic style will stay the same, but the look will be altered. It will also contain new apps including Skype!
Another nice feature is that you can be watching live TV or playing a game, and you can snap the screen to open up another program or app such as internet explorer or skype while you still play your game!
The speed has also been sped up. You can swap from live TV, to internet explorer and then go to your game as quickly as you can change channel on your TV!
XBOX One will also have it's own TV guide, which will also contain a favourites section that you can pin your favorite programes to and a trending section to find out what other members of the xbox community are really enjoying watching!
They also claim that XBOX One will be a pretty much silent machine and will be lag free. I suggest they give gamers a month to play their hearts out on this system before they really believe this!
There will also be a new xbox live, which will still be based on the current xbox live. One big change will be the fact that the current xbox live runs on 15,000 servers. XBOX One's live will be running from 300,000 servers around the world.
Games we can look forward to for the XBOX One will include Forza Motorsport 5 which will be available at the launch of XBOX One and Quantum Break.
There will be 15 XBOX One exclusive games in the next year!
Big news for Halo fans. Not an announcement for Halo 5, no. Instead, slightly bigger news. Halo will be getting it's own live action TV programme, worked on by Steven Spielberg!
Also, the new xbox will be with us later this year, it was announced. No exact date was given, but with E3 only a couple of weeks away, maybe we'll be given a clearer picture soon!
