Called Vengeance it includes the usual 4 new multiplayer maps, a new zombies map and also includes a new zombies weapon!!
COVE: This map is set on a secluded island in the Indian Ocean, featuring a crashed jet from a smuggling attempt gone wrong, rocks and overgrown foliage. This is described as a map that will be good for people who can learn to hug the rocks of the map and sneak up on their enemies for surprise attacks.
RUSH: Set in a paintbal range, this map features both outdoor and indoor paintballing areas. It is a similar kind of map to the Grind map from the first DLC Revolution.
DETOUR: On a bridge over an east coast waterway, this map is on two levels giving perfect chances for all ranges of weapon types on the top and more close quarters weapon types underneath. With abandoned vehicles on the top of the bridge, it gives plenty of cover.
UPLINK: A remake of the popular Black Ops 1 map, Summit. Like the remake of Firing Range on the last DLC Uprising, it is the same layout but with a different look and feel. This shall probably be another popular map!
BURIED: The new zombies map! Set in an underground Old West town, with a new perk and the new zombies weapon - the Ray Gun Mark II. The new perk has not been mentioned yet, but keen observant fans who have watched the announcement video have pointed out that you catch a glimpse of it in the background. No details have yet been given of the easter eggs, perks and other weapons available in this map as of yet. For a photo of the Ray Gun Mark II, please look beneath the video.
An interesting fact was reported to Simply Gaming by a fellow gamer this past week, regarding zombies and the reimagined Studio map. In the trailer in the map, there are weapons available to see in there. Clearly visible is the Sliquifier from Die Rise, and the original Ray Gun. The other two weapons you can see, can't be made out enough to work out what they are. One of them does have a mild resemblance to the Ray Gun Mark II that will be coming with this DLC, but I don't think it looks as alike to it as the Sliquifier and Ray Gun that you can obviously see. Be sure to check them out when you get the chance on Studio!
