CALL OF DUTY BLACK OPS 3 OFFICIALLY ANNOUNCED
YouTubers within the Call Of Duty community received a trailer not long ago, and it has now been shared among the world!
Here you go guys, enjoy!
We have been given a new snapchat video, this time with another voiceover again. This time, he says "Our greatest barrier is our own fear, our own doubts" and the video shows a black background with a few embers floating across the screen.
This reminded me of a supposed "leak" from a couple of months ago.
In this "leak" the video showed an xbox home screen with "Black Ops 3" and even went in to the game menu. On the loading screens where it shows the Activision and the Treyarch logo, you can see the ember effect again.
There is nothing to clarify whether this leak is real or not, but at the time it was slated as fake. However.... could it have been originally uploaded by an employee within Treyarch or Activision that simply wanted to show off what they could for online rep? Or is it indeed fake? No one truely knows, but you can't deny that the ember effect is present in both the leak and the official snapchat.
Here's the leak below:
The original video was removed from YouTube, but not before user 10tennyson was able to grab the clip and re-upload it.
I repeat, this leak video is not confirmed as either real or fake so must be taken with a pinch of salt.
But what do you think?
As many of you know from previous Call Of Duty titles and indeed most games there is always a massive hype when a reveal is imminent. Whether it be a date for a reveal, or a leak, or even a well orchestrated Snapchat project - the hype grows astoundingly fast.
Within this hype, many come across relevent and irrelevent information snooping around the internet with whatever information they have gotten so far.
Thanks to people like these, we find things that we hadn't found ourselves!
Many know Sgt. Frank Woods from the previous games, but he also has a YouTube channel by the actor who portrays him "James C Burns". Reddit users last night reported finding that his last 3 videos, all posted within the past few days, all contains a set of numbers in the description.
In the first video, was 62, in the second was 40 and in the third was 5102.
These may just mean nothing, but it can't be coincidence that if you turn them around, the numbers give an upcoming date - 26/04/2015.
Again, this could be absolutely unrelated and mean absolutely nothing.... but could we possibly be looking at a reveal date? Maybe even a date we should be checking back to Sgt Frank Wood's channel?
Only time will tell, as there has been nothing official said yet. Please stay tuned for more information as it becomes available.
In the new 3 year cycle now also including Sledgehammer, next up is Treyarch's next Call of Duty title.
While no official information has been given by the developers, Black Ops 2 players have been finding that some of the advertisements on billboards around the multiplayer maps now have a Snapchat ghost. These can be scanned using the snapchat app to add "Dr Salim" to your contacts.
So far, "Dr Salim" has posted five 10 second snaps, and a picture. The Snapchat account didn't originally have the name "Dr Salim", this only changed after the second clip.
Below is a video by YouTuber OGZxFTW showing where you can find two of these Snapchat QR codes, and the first clip posted.
The voice over for the first clip is an older sounding gentleman saying "Listen only to the sound of my voice." The clip shows an eye closing, and then a forest. Could this possibly be a reference to Woods, a previous Black Ops 1 & 2 character? Alot of people are speculating that how the sunlight falls on the ground could be to show the III that could be pointing towards Black Ops 3.
The code on Express can be found on a billboard advertising perfume just outside the map in the ticket office area.
Below are further videos from the same YouTuber before, showing the rest of the clips so far at the time of posting this article.
At the end of OGZxFTW's video, he shows a tweet from Activision Support saying "Black Ops 3 has yet to be released". If you look to the left you can see the whole tweet conversation between twitter user "xSyrro" and Activision Support. This is not a confirmation that it is Black Ops 3, but rather just Activision Support realising that the original tweet from xSyrro had Black Ops 3 rather than 2 (probably tipped off when he put that he was playing it on xbox one!) |
This clip did not have a voice over, but instead has the sound of a cat scanner. As expected, this clip shows more of the cat scan images we saw in a previous clip as well as the soldier's walking along and the woods again.
A new clip has been released in the last half an hour, showing a snowy mountain range. It looks like the same mountain range we have seen in a previous clip, and again there is no voice over.
We shall upload a video as soon as one becomes available!
