As I'm sure you're aware, BO2 has had alot of attention recently what with their latest map pack Revolution, giving you 4 new multiplayer map packs, a new Zombie map and mode, and of course a new gun - The Peacekeeper. What sets this new DLC apart from the normal map-based DLC is that this content is not available for free to those who have already bought the Season Pass. My thoughts on this are because whilst Revolution adds a certain something to your gameplay, the microtransaction DLC doesn't. Let me tell you what's available.
For start off, there are the new weapon skins. There are nine in total, and each one will cost you 160 Microsoft points. What you get for your points are a weapon camouflage a calling card depicting your choice of camo, and 3 reticle types you can use with any ACOG, EOTech and basic Red Dot sights.
The skins themselves are actually pretty cool, and these are named Jungle, Benjamins (which covers your gun in money), Dia De Los Muertos, Graffiti, Kawaii, Party Rock, Viper, Zombies, and Bacon. Yep, I wrote that correctly, Bacon. Bacon wrapped RPG anyone..?
It's not all doom and gloom though, if you simply want a calling card that you can proudly show off your countries flag then go ahead! For 80 ms points your flag, or any other countries for that matter, can be yours!
So hopefully that's cleared up some of the confusion about what's available. Keep on shooting guys, and maybe I'll see you online!
