So, Natalie did a load of cupcakes for a friend's birthday recently. There were Yoda cupcakes, ballet shoe cupcakes, horse head cupcakes and these.... Can you name the popular Playstation game that this character is from?

Hi guys and girls!
So, as you may know from our twitter we have been having some difficulty with gettin on to the blog, but that is all rectified now and it's back to normal!! Yay! Nat & Andy Release Date:- 29th October 2013 Platforms :- PS3, XBOX360, WiiU, PC BEING RELEASED ON NEXT-GEN VONSOLES AS WELL So, much to Ubisoft's probable displeasure (but to my overwhelming glee), Assassins Creed IV trailer has been leaked a few days early. I've watched it, I think it's awesome, and here's what I can make of it so far. Set in the early 18th century, you play a new Assassin named Captain Edward Kenway. That's right, Kenway. You are playing Haytham's old man, Connors Grandad. Whether or not this game is set in the Animus is as of yet unknown, as anyone who played Assassin's Creed 3 knows that our main protagonist Desmond is unlikely to make a return. The trailer shows Captain Blackbeard talking to a group of Pirates about Edward Kenway, describing him as a man who has no fear, and fights like a demon within a mans body. Showing how easily Edward clears the deck of a Spanish Galleon also gives us insight into what kind of weapons we will have. Duel wielding is making a return, with swords, guns, plus the Hidden Blade being a big favorite of mine all capable of a lot of damage. "There be more mystery to that man then even I dare ask" - Captain Blackbeard Also shown in the trailer is underwater swimming, looting treasure chests found in jungles, as well as Assassination missions set in a city. Even in the trailer you see Edward don his Assassins Hood, creep up behind a gentleman, kill him, and take the arm of the woman he was walking with. I can imagine this game will feature more Naval battles which AC3 set us up for nicely, whilst hopefully we have a few nice cities to run around. Personally, I cannot wait! If and when I find out something new, ill let you know. In the meantime, I beg you all to watch the trailer!! Hi guys and girls! Okay, so tomorrow evening I shall get my first play of the new Tomb Raider! Very excited, as I have been waiting for this game to come out since playing it at Eurogamer last year! So yeah, you can expect in the next week there shall be a review uploaded by me on this game! In the mean time, here are all the trailers so far! Enjoy! Hey Guys and Girls!
It's that time of the year again where you can buy your tickets for Eurogamer Expo 2013! If you don't know what it is then let me explain. Held in Earls Court, the Eurogamer Expo is where you can go to play games that are not available to buy. For example, last year they had playable versions of Tomb Raider, Halo 4, Assassins Creed 3, Dishonered and so many more games then I can list all set up to play, and at the time not a single one of those games were released. There are games spanning all consoles, including Wii, PS3, Xbox 360, PC, Ps Vita, DS, and retro consoles! It's not all just play though, there are sometimes competitions. Last year there was a Black Ops 2 tournament where you could win a t shirt! Sadly I wasn't good enough but I still enjoyed my first taste of the game. As well as all the gaming fun, there are a plethora of shops to buy gaming merchandise, developer sessions with the guys behind the games showing off what they've done and asking questions from fans, as well as plenty of places to keep your own energy levels up with Hot food and drink. Tickets do run out quick, so head to EurogamerExpo's site now and get your tickets quick!! Maybe ill even see you there :-) So, at the Playstation event in New York on the 20/2/13 we got our first official look at the new Playstation 4 controller, the Dualshock 4. What I would like to know, is what you guys think of this new bit of kit, seeing as we didn't get a proper look at the playstation 4!
The Dualshock 4 has: - A functioning touchscreen - Motion sensor that will detect where you are playing from and also detect movements for certain aspects of gameplay - Improved rumble in not just the triggers, but also in the thumbsticks aswell - Share button for instant sharing of your gameplay videos So, what do you think of this new bit of hand candy? Leave your comments below!! :) Hey guys! Valve, the company that have brought us such games as the Left 4 Dead and Portal series, have fired about 25 members of their staff in the past few days. The news broke to the world by a tweet last week from Valve engineer Jeri Ellsworth on 13/02/19 saying: Reportedly, the firings have been based on changes within the company, not on each employees personal performance within the company. It seems that there have been several different departments hit, including hardware and android development departments. A statement by Valve co-founder Gabe Newell had this to say about the matter to Engadget: "No, we aren't cancelling any projects. No, we aren't changing any priorities or projects we've been discussing. No, this isn't about Steam or Linus or hardware or [insert game name here]. We're not going to discuss why anyone in particular is or isn't working here." You'll be glad to know that, as these are not departments involved with game development, their games are still being developed as usual. However, what about this games console that has been talked about? Is that now finished? Surely that would come under the hardware department? Or perhaps they are still working on it and have decided that they need less people. Who knows, but I shall keep my eyes peeled and report anything new to you when I hear it! :)
Hi guys! So, IGN.com put up a video yesterday afternoon for "Remember Me" due out in May this year on Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC. I'm not going to lie, I hadn't really heard much about this game until this video came out, so I had to do some research and I'm definitely in for this! The story of the game is you play as Nilin, a young woman who has had her memory wiped. Set in Paris in the year 2084, she must discover why her memory has been wiped, and how to restore herself. It seems to be a very much exploration game, with melee combat instead of the usual shooters that we keep seeing around these days. One thing that does make this game stand out from the rest for me is one simple thing: You can go into and edit a persons memory, meaning that their perception of what happened in that memory changes to what you want! Now, as of yet I can't tell whether this is a particularly big part of the game or now but judging from the story line of Nilin searching for answers to her memory loss and how to restore herself, it says to me that this is in fact going to be a rather large part. So, anyway, back to the video. The video is mostly just information and showing you the games best selling points, as usual, but they also have Mr Jean-Maxime Moris, the Creative Director of Remember Me being interviewed too, giving some other information I have not been able to find on the internet before this video. The video is a great way to have a look at the gameplay, and get a real idea of what the game could be like. Here's the video here, as posted yesterday afternoon by IGN on Youtube.com Parent of the ever popular Rockstar company Take-Two have now confirmed that they have now taken over the WWE game franchise from the recently bankrupt THQ. With games such as Grand Theft Auto 5, Red Dead Redemption, Borderlands 2 and Max Payne 3 under their belts, this certainly gives wrestling fans some promise for the future of the ever popular franchise. Take-Two will continue to have Japanese company Yuke developing the game, as they have done since 2000 for THQ. Also, some previous employees of THQ who worked on the WWE projects will also be employed by Take-Two to work on future productions of the game series. This of course is a definite sigh of relief for those employees who were made redundant by the company going under December 2012. In January 2013, THQ held a bankruptcy aution where games, studios and assets where auctioned off to other companies. SEGA bought Company of Heroes developer Relic Entertainment. Koch Media bought Saints Row developer Volition and Metro properties. Ubisoft bought THQ's Montreal studio and South Park rights. Crytek bought Homefront. Take2 also purchased new Evolve property. Darksiders and developer Vigil didn't get bought at this time. |
